Tim Pizey studied Neurobiology at Sussex University then joined the support division of the warshipbuilder Vosper Thornycroft where he worked in spare parts provision and maintenance documentation.
This culminated in a project to produce, install and manage a support database under the al Yamamah project which unified the support requirements of the UK MODN, BAE, the Royal Saudi Navy and the US Navy.
After nine years he left to study Artificial Intelligence at Edinburgh University, where all
the intelligence on display was entirely natural.
Since which time he has run a web based consultancy in Oxford, surfing the wave of the internet revolution and creating a few websites.
The experience gained during the hype phase has left him well placed to pontificate on unsuccessful approaches to exploiting the web.
